The third pillar

Your Zakat, calculated correctly

Nisab against live gold and silver rates. A Hawl cycle that tracks itself. And every asset you own counted properly — so the figure you give is the figure you owe.

What the app does that a calculator cannot

A calculator answers one question, once. Deenomics keeps answering it every day as your wealth moves.

01

It values what you hold

Cash, bank balances, gold and silver by weight, business stock, investments, and receivables — pulled from the assets you already log in the app, valued at today’s rates.

02

It watches the Nisab

Your net zakatable wealth is compared against the lower of the gold (87.48g) and silver (612.36g) thresholds, using live metal prices, every day.

03

It runs the Hawl for you

The lunar year starts the day you cross the Nisab. If your wealth dips below and comes back, Deenomics handles the reset — you never have to remember a date.

04

It shows the 2.5%, with the working

When the Hawl completes you get the exact amount due and a line-by-line breakdown of how it was reached. Log payments against it as you give.

Zakatable or not

What actually counts towards your Zakat

Wealth that grows or sits idle is zakatable. Things you use in daily life are not.

  • Cash and bank balances
  • Gold and silver, at market value
  • Business stock held for sale
  • Shares, funds, and sukuk
  • Money lent out that you expect back
  • Your home you live in
  • The car you drive
  • Tools and machinery you work with
  • Personal clothing and furniture

“Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase.”

Al-Qur’an, 9:103

Sadaqah, logged

Record every voluntary gift — masjid, orphan sponsorship, a neighbour in need — and see the year’s total in one place.

Income purification

Interest you could not avoid receiving, tracked separately so you can give it away without counting it as charity.

A private vault

Zakat and Sadaqah sit behind their own PIN, separate from your device unlock. Giving stays between you and Allah.

Zakat questions

Before you calculate

Your zakatable wealth — cash, bank balances, gold and silver, business stock, investments, and receivables — is measured against the current Nisab threshold. Once you cross it, the Hawl (lunar year) begins. When it completes, Deenomics shows 2.5% of the qualifying wealth as the amount due, with the working shown line by line.

No. Deenomics never asks for your banking credentials and never links to your account. It reads the SMS and push notifications your bank already sends to your phone, turns them into draft transactions, and waits for you to approve each one.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the Zakat Vault and Secret Vault sit behind a PIN separate from your device unlock. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Never miss a Hawl again

Deenomics tracks the threshold, the year, and the amount — so the only thing left for you to do is give.
